Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) Native American Business Development Centers (NABDC's)

11.801 Native American Programs

NABDC's provide management and technical assistance to Native Americans located throughout the country. NABDC's provide clients with advice and counseling in such areas as preparing financial packages, business counseling, business information and management, accounting guidance, marketing, business/industrial site analysis, production, engineering, construction assistance, procurement and identification of potential business opportunities. MBDA does not have the authority to nor does it make loans to Native American firms. Program funds are restricted to providing management and technical assistance.

UIDA Business Services (UBS)

A Native American Procurement and Technical Assistance Center (PTAC)

UBS is operated through a cooperative agreement and with partial funding from the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD)'s Defense of Logistics Agency (DLA). The goal of this program is to provide contract identification and procurement assistance to Native American and Alaskan Native businesses throughout the Eastern U.S. UIDA makes available contract bid opportunities from federal agencies and large corporations doing business with the government throughout the country.
